Tottenham might acquire the next Messi for less than £25 million; he is a real "horror for defenders," according to TBR View

Tottenham Hotspur has done well in recent years in acquiring talented young people.

Ryan Sessegnon, Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie, and Djed Spence are just a few of the players who chose Spurs.

Now, it's being said that Tottenham is interested in signing one of the most highly regarded young players in football.

Spurs have reportedly set their sights on Fenerbahce prodigy Arda Guler, according to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli and Tutto Napoli.

According to reports, the midfielder is being sought after by teams like Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain in addition to Tottenham.

Spurs would be getting a true prodigy if they were able to capture Guler's signature.

The youthful player has already made 29 senior appearances for his club despite only being 17 years old.

Guler, who has also racked up six goals and six assists, has already been called up to the Turkey national squad.

Guler joined the Fenerbahce academy in 2019. He is a "exceptional ball carrier."

They promoted him to their first team before the 2021–22 season.

Guler made 16 appearances across all competitions and concluded the season with three goals and three assists.

He signed a deal in March committing him until the summer of 2025.

An extensive examination of the young midfielder was written earlier this year by the scouting website Foot The Ball.

They described the player as "an advanced playmaker by nature, who likes to be fielded in a free role, where he can roam the pitch."

The Turkish midfielder is certainly qualified to play in a deeper position as well.

Finding space and selecting passes that only a few other players can see would be the most notable ability, though.

Guler also possesses excellent close control, as evidenced by his 1v1 dribbling, which gives his and the team's final-third play dynamism. For the Turkish magician, things don't end here.

He excels at carrying the ball, which demonstrates why he is frequently referred to as the "Turkish Messi," as it allows his team to advance and create better opportunities.

As a result of his low center of gravity, he is very quick off the mark, which facilitates his off-the-ball movements and allows him to plan lethal moves from the deep.

"His crosses are pinpoint and unpredictable, much like Ozil and De Bruyne in their prime."

Messi 2.0 for under £25m?

In the summer, Aksam — via the Liverpool Echo — asserted that Fenerbahce valued Guler at about £21.5 million.

For a player who hasn't reached the age of 18, that sum is high, but it demonstrates how much they value him.

To be fair, he has demonstrated that he is capable of playing at the highest level.

Guler has performed well in both the Europa League and the Turkish Superlig, in addition to the Turkish Superlig.
