1. Philip Emeagwali (IQ Level- 190)



This individual, an engineer, mathematician, and geologist, examined oil fields using the Connection Machine supercomputer. Even though he dropped out of school at the age of 13 to fight in the Nigerian-Biafran war, he persevered and eventually finished school on his own, receiving a degree in mathematics. His accomplishments don't stop here. Through several universities, he received three master's degrees, one each in mathematics, environmental science, and marine engineering. This Nigerian author also applied to the University of Michigan for a PhD, but was rejected on the basis of racial discrimination. As a result, he sued the university.
