The Swiss Life Group, with roughly CHF 276.3 bn in assets under administration, is the largest life insurance firm in Switzerland and one of Europe's top suppliers of comprehensive life, pensions, and financial services. The company was established in 1867 in Zurich as the cooperative Schweizerische Lebensversicherungs und Rentenanstalt. It went public in Switzerland in 1997 and changed its name to its current form in 2002. A 15% drop from the year before, the group reported an adjusted profit from operations of CHF 1.81 billion in 2021. To CHF 1.3 billion, net profit rose by 20%.
