FURTHER DETAIL FROM INVESTIGATION OF THE CARDIFF CARE CRASH

 "She asked me why I was there, and I replied, 'There's all tyre marks here.' Her colleague came out and looked at the tyre marks, and they used the helicopter to search in this bush, and that's when it was determined it was there."


Matthew said, "Surely they should have started looking and searching the moment they were reported missing.


"I expected they'd have been looking all day Saturday, especially because witnesses saw five individuals in the car and there's no contact off (sic)any of them," the speaker said.


"This is a really tragic circumstance, and our sympathies are with the family and friends of each of the young people involved," Assistant Chief Constable Mark Hoborough of the Gwent Police said. We urge the public to refrain from speculating during this time while we continue to help the investigation.


South Wales Police Acting Chief Constable Jason Davies stated, "Our sympathies remain with the families and everyone touched by this awful occurrence. Specialized police are doing a thorough investigation to put together what took place.
