There are only a few insurance companies operating in the country, with most of them providing limited coverage and services. The main types of insurance offered are life, health, and property insurance. Due to the volatile security situation in the country, insurance premiums are high and coverage is often limited. Additionally, many Afghans are not aware of the importance of insurance or do not have the financial means to purchase it. However, with the ongoing development and reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan, there is potential for growth and expansion in the insurance industry.
